Lessons, not a LMS
A course is an ordered list of lessons: a video, audio or file, plus notes in markdown. Add, reorder, done.
Online courses
Upload lessons, order them, mark a couple as free previews, set a price. Buyers pay once and watch on a player that remembers where they left off.
Why it works
A course is an ordered list of lessons: a video, audio or file, plus notes in markdown. Add, reorder, done.
Flag any lesson as a preview and it plays on the product page before purchase. The rest stays locked.
Buyers tick lessons off and pick up where they stopped, from the link in their order email.
Courses sit next to downloads, merch and sessions. One checkout, one order history, one Stripe payout.
Building
Create a course product, drop your videos or audio into the files section, and turn each one into a lesson with a title, notes and a duration. Move lessons up and down until the order feels right. Cover image, description and price work like any other product.

Selling
Mark a lesson as a free preview and it plays right on the product page, above the buy button. The outline shows every lesson, its length and which ones are locked, so buyers know exactly what they get.

Watching
After checkout the buyer gets a private link. The player lists every lesson with a tick for the finished ones, plays the media, shows your notes and moves to the next lesson when they mark it complete. Streams are signed and short-lived, so the link can't be passed around.

Getting started
01
Shop, new product, type Course. Give it a title, a cover and a price.
02
Add videos, audio or files, then turn each one into a lesson with notes and a duration.
03
Flag the lesson that sells the rest as a free preview. Publish.
04
The product page has its own URL. Put it in your bio, a DM or a newsletter.
Your audience already comes to one link to tip you, join a tier or buy a download. A course belongs there too. Sending people to a separate course site means another account, another checkout and another brand between you and the sale.
Keeping it on thx.so means one order history, one payout and one set of numbers, and buyers who already trust the checkout.
Short. Five to ten lessons that solve one specific problem beat a forty-lesson masterclass that never ships. Record the lessons you would explain in a DM anyway, then write the notes you'd paste under them.
Make the first lesson the preview. If it earns the click, the rest will sell.
Lesson media is stored with your product files and streamed through signed, short-lived URLs. Buyers watch through the private link in their order email, and progress is saved per order so they can come back on any device.
