For streamers

A donation link you can read out mid-sentence.

Short URL, six-second wallet checkout, and alerts that fire on stream while the moment is still live.

Why it works

For streamers

Alerts that land in time

A browser-source overlay fires the moment a tip clears, so you can thank someone while chat still remembers who they are.

A link you can say out loud

thx.so/yourname is short enough to say between plays and short enough to fit on a stream frame without wrapping.

Goals that build tension

A live progress bar gives a stream a shape. Chat pushes toward a number far harder than it pushes toward a vague ask.

No account for the viewer

Nobody leaves your stream to make an account. They tap, confirm with Face ID, and come straight back.

Overlays

One browser source. OBS, Streamlabs, or Twitch Studio.

Drop the overlay URL into a browser source and it stays connected for the whole broadcast. Tips, new members, and goal progress all render through the same layer.

  • Works with any browser-source-capable software
  • Tip, membership, and goal-progress events
  • Configurable duration, sound, and position

Mid-stream money

The tip has to clear before the moment does.

Viewers tip on impulse, and impulse has a half-life measured in seconds. A wallet-first checkout means the payment finishes before the clip ends.

  • Apple Pay and Google Pay first, card as fallback
  • Optional one-line message read out on stream
  • Preset amounts tuned for chat-sized tips

Between streams

Subs on your own terms.

Platform subscriptions stay on the platform. A membership tier on your own link follows you across Twitch, YouTube, Kick, and whatever comes next.

  • Tiers priced the way you want them
  • Members-only posts for VODs, notes, and behind-the-scenes
  • Broadcast to members by tier

Getting started

Live in one setup session.

  1. 01

    Claim a short handle

You'll say this out loud hundreds of times. Short and phonetic beats clever.

  2. 02

    Connect Stripe

Stripe verifies you once and pays out to your bank on a rolling two-day schedule.

  3. 03

    Add the overlay

Copy the overlay URL into a browser source in OBS or Twitch Studio and size it where alerts belong.

  4. 04

    Test with a small tip

Send yourself the smallest amount you allow, confirm the alert fires, then refund it.

Why platform-native tipping isn't enough

Built-in currencies and platform subs are convenient and they work — but they only work on the platform that owns them. Multi-streaming, moving platforms, or building an audience that follows you rather than a channel all break that model.

An independent link is portable. It works in a Discord pinned message, a YouTube description, a TikTok bio, and on stage — and the money arrives in the same place regardless of where the viewer came from.

Alert fatigue is real; design for it

Alerts work because they interrupt. Overused, they stop registering — for you and for chat. Set a minimum amount for on-screen alerts and let smaller tips accumulate in a ticker or a goal bar instead.

The goal bar is the underrated part. It converts passive viewers into participants because progress toward a number is visible in a way that a static donate button never is.

What to say on stream

Ask specifically and rarely. 'Link's in the description if you want to throw something at the goal' outperforms a generic reminder, because it names a reason and a destination.

Then thank people by name and move on quickly. The thanks is the product; the interruption is the cost.

FAQ

Questions people ask first.

Does this work with OBS?

Yes — the overlay is a plain browser source, so OBS, Streamlabs, Twitch Studio, and anything else that renders web pages will run it.

Can I read tip messages on stream?

Yes. Messages are optional for the tipper and shown in the alert and your dashboard. Moderate before you read if your chat is spicy.

Will viewers need to leave the stream?

They open the link on their phone or in a tab, pay with a wallet in a few seconds, and come back. There's no account creation step.

Can I set a minimum tip amount?

Yes — a custom-amount minimum filters out test payments and keeps alerts meaningful.

What about chargebacks from stream donations?

Disputes are handled through your Stripe account with the standard Stripe process. Because payments are wallet-authenticated, dispute rates tend to be lower than raw card entry.
