Common questions.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free is permanently 0% platform fee. Pro adds custom URL slugs, branded checkout (no "powered by thx.so"), goal bars, and analytics. Both let you collect unlimited tips.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Is there a transaction fee on Free?
No platform fee from us. Stripe charges its standard processing fee (~2.9% + 30¢ per tip), which is deducted before the tip lands in your account.
What about JP payments?
JP-issued cards work via standard Stripe checkout on every plan. PayPay and LINE Pay launch in Phase 3 — they'll be free on Pro.
What happens if I outgrow Business?
Email us at hello@thx.so and we'll work out a custom arrangement. We've kept this product narrow on purpose, so "outgrowing" usually means "needs custom Stripe negotiation," not "needs a different platform."
