Memberships

Recurring support. Monthly tiers, monthly checks.

Your most loyal supporters subscribe once. You get paid every month, automatically.

Set your tiers

Three tiers, your prices, your perks.

Name them, price them, describe what's included. The defaults are sensible — you can ship with a single tier if you want to keep it minimal. Add more when you have something worth gating.

  • Multiple tiers, per-currency pricing
  • Per-tier perks and entitlements
  • Edit tiers anytime — existing members keep their rate

Members-only content

Lock posts to the people paying for them.

Each post chooses its minimum tier. Public, members of any tier, or members of a specific tier and up. Same editor, same publish flow — the lock icon is the only difference.

  • Per-post minimum tier
  • Markdown, photos, audio, video, files
  • Email and in-app notifications to eligible members

Predictable revenue

Income you can plan a month around.

Tips are bursty. Memberships are a baseline. Both work better together — the membership pays rent, the tips fund the mic. Your dashboard shows both with no mental math required.

  • MRR and churn at a glance
  • Projected next-month income
  • Tier-by-tier breakdown for pricing decisions

Memberships FAQ

Things people ask before turning tiers on.

How many tiers can I create?

As many as you want, but three is the sweet spot — entry, mid, and superfan. More tiers means more decisions for your supporters, which usually means fewer signups.

What can I gate behind a tier?

Posts (full or excerpts), file downloads, comments, the supporters wall, and any future tier-only features. Each post can pick its own minimum tier.

Can members cancel anytime?

Yes. Members manage their own subscription from the Stripe customer portal — pause, cancel, change card, change tier. You never have to handle a cancellation request manually.

When do membership payments hit my bank?

Same payout schedule as tips — Stripe's rolling two-day default, configurable to weekly or monthly. Stripe also handles failed-card retries and dunning automatically.

Do I need separate platforms for members and tippers?

No. Memberships, tips, posts, shop, goals — same link, same dashboard, same payout. Your supporter sees one page, you see one inbox.
